RAFFA BORDER DISTRIBUTION

In July 2026, we returned to Cairo. We spent time with Palestinian families displaced from Gaza.

Alongside our volunteers, we prepared essential food parcels for families in Gaza. These boxes are delivered directly into Gaza via the Raffa border and contain essential staple items.

RAFFA BORDER DISTRIBUTION

In May 2026, we met Palestinian refugee families who had fled Gaza with almost nothing.

Together with our dedicated volunteers, we packed essential food parcels with care and purpose, knowing that each box could become a lifeline for a family inside Gaza.

PAKISTAN SURGICAL MISSION

MAC is pleased to report the successful completion of its April 2026 surgical mission in Pakistan. This mission was delivered in collaboration with Mirpur Divisional Headquarters Teaching Hospital in Pakistan and IMRA Charity.

The purpose of the mission was to provide specialist surgical care to patients who face barriers in being able to pay for medical treatment – especially for complex, and life-changing medical healthcare.

RAFFA BORDER DISTRIBUTION

In February 2026, we met and supported Palestinian refugee families who fled Gaza and are facing severe financial hardship, with many struggling to afford even the basics. Alongside our dedicated volunteers, we packed essential food parcels and supported the route for delivery into Gaza via the Rafah border.

GAZA HOT MEALS

Families in Gaza continue to face severe hardship as conflict and disruption have limited access to food, fuel, and basic supplies.

MAC runs an ongoing Hot Meals project in Gaza, providing freshly prepared meals to people who need immediate nourishment.

WATER HANDPUMPS

In many low-income communities across Pakistan and Bangladesh, access to safe, reliable water remains a daily challenge.

Families often depend on distant or unsafe water sources, increasing the risk of waterborne illness and placing an extra burden on women and children who may spend hours each day collecting water.

GAZA HOT MEALS

MAC has delivered thousands of hot meals to Gaza. The need is immense, and the impact is undeniable.

The genocide has sent food prices soaring, putting even basic staples out of reach for families already displaced and exhausted. With markets unaffordable and aid limited, babies are the most vulnerable—starvation and severe malnutrition can turn fatal frighteningly fast. Our Hot Meals Campaign is delivering fresh, hot meals to those facing acute hunger right now.

Cataracts Eye Surgery

In Pakistan, cataract is a leading cause of blindness — estimated around 570,000 adults are blind due to cataract. Cost is a major reason people delay or miss treatment especially for underserved communities.

Through our cataract surgery work in Pakistan, we help patients access sight-restoring treatment—cataract surgery is among the most cost-effective health-care interventions—so people can return to daily life with independence, safety, and dignity.

Raffa Border Distribution

In November 2025 Cairo, we met and supported Palestinian refugee families that fled Gaza facing severe financial hardship, many struggling to afford even the basics. With dedicated volunteers, we packed essential food parcels that were sent through the Rafah border for delivery into Gaza.

It was a humbling and deeply rewarding mission—powered by teamwork, compassion, and a shared commitment to stand with people in crisis.

Pakistan Medical Eye Clinic

In a joint collaboration between Medics Across Continents (MAC) and Being Humanitarian, a Free Eye Screening Camp was organised on 21st June 2025 to provide essential eye care services to underserved individuals from Abdullah Gabol Goth, Karachi.

The objective was to identify vision-related issues, provide on-the-spot consultation, and issue prescribed eye drops or glasses where required

Qurbani 2025

Qurbani sacrifices were carried out in Pakistan and India, made possible by the generous Eid al-Adha 2025 contribution of a MAC donor.

The project ensured that high-quality Qurbani meat was distributed to vulnerable communities across both regions, fulfilling the donor’s religious obligation while delivering maximum benefit to families in need.

Wheelchairs in Pakistan Distribution

The wheelchair distribution took place in Sindh, Pakistan, providing vital mobility support to individuals from low-income communities living with physical disabilities.

These mobility aids are life-changing—helping restore dignity, strengthen independence, and make daily movement and participation in family and community life far easier for each recipient.

Malawi Surgical Mission

MAC carried out a vital medical deployment in Blantyre, Malawi, in 2024. The mission responded to a broad range of community health needs through surgeries, patient consultations, and capacity-building activities.

Bangladesh Health Packs Distribution

Medics Across Continents delivered a maternal health initiative in Matlabpur, Bangladesh, distributing maternal health packs to new mothers and their infants to strengthen early postnatal care in an underserved community.

Pakistan Prosthetic Limbs Project

This project successfully designed, manufactured, and delivered prosthetic limbs, helping recipients regain mobility and improve their overall quality of life.

Each prosthesis was carefully tailored to the individual—prioritising comfort, durability, and day-to-day functionality—through precise measurements, high-quality material selection, and advanced fabrication methods.

Ethiopia Surgical Training Mission

MAC organised a comprehensive training program in Addis.

Over the course of the program medical staff received hands-on training in a range of surgical procedures and medical interventions.

We packed parcels to be transported into Gaza, helping ensure life-saving supplies could reach families.

The maternal packs included key essentials such as baby milk, nappies, maternity pads, and hygiene items, helping families care for newborns more safely and with greater dignity.
