Raffa Border Food Parcels Distribution

Medics Across Continents successfully mobilise humanitarian aid operations to support families affected by the ongoing crisis in Gaza on a regular basis. Our volunteers hand-pack and prepare essential food parcels containing staple items such as rice, lentils, oil, sugar, beans, pasta, tuna and other vital food supplies. Once prepared, the parcels are loaded for onward transportation through the Raffa border reaching vulnerable families facing severe food shortages, displacement and ongoing hardship inside Gaza.

In addition to the Gaza aid operation, MAC volunteers also visit Palestinian refugee families living in and around Cairo after fleeing the genocide in Gaza. Many of these families were living in extremely difficult conditions, having left behind their homes, livelihoods, and loved ones, and living with severe injuries from Gaza.

MAC provide gifts to these Palestinian refugee families. Our volunteers visit Palestinian refugee brothers and sisters in their homes in Cairo. We present each family member with gift bags ensuring the families were supported not only materially, but with respect and human warmth.

Behind every food parcel delivered is months of planning, fundraising, procurement, logistics and coordination carried out by Medics Across Continents and its volunteers. From sourcing essential food supplies and arranging transportation to coordinating distribution through the Raffa border, every stage of the operation is carefully managed to ensure aid reaches those who need it most.

When you donate to this appeal, your contribution goes directly towards supporting Palestinian families affected by the crisis. Your donation will purchase the food items that fill the aid parcels entering Gaza through the Rafah border, providing families with essential staples such as rice, oil, lentils, beans and other basic necessities.

In addition, your donation will provide direct cash assistance, which our volunteers place into the hands of refugee families themselves, enabling them to buy urgent necessities such as food, medicine, clothing and other essentials.
